Why it matters

Passive voice hides who is doing the action. That can read like a template.

Examples

  • “The issue will be investigated.” → “I’m investigating the issue now.”
  • “A decision will be made soon.” → “We’ll decide by Friday.”

When passive is okay

When the actor truly doesn’t matter (e.g., “The package was delivered”).
